About John Cunningham

John’s work in the building industry began a long time ago. Born and raised in Ireland, he comes from a family of skilled construction and general contractors and he began learning the tools of the trade early on from his father, Sean. He went to trade school to become an ironworker in his native Ireland and after arriving in Chicago in 2005 he began his career as a plumber.

 

In 2010, he formed Four Shamrocks Sewer, a licensed, insured and bonded plumbing and sewer company. After renovating multiple investment properties, John then received his general contractor license. Because of his past experience in a variety of trades, John works side-by-side with subcontractors and can quickly identify quality processes and remove those that are less than desirable.

 

His expectations are high on every aspect of a home’s assemblage, and with his extensive knowledge and background experience, those who work for him respect his knowledge and meet his standards. He has a deep appreciation for the homeowners he works with and the spaces they choose to renovate. His personable demeanor establishes a confident, professional relationship with clients and a neighborly standard of communication.
